KIMKIMKIMKIMKIM

Well. I am EXTREMELY happy. Well....not about everything (school). But omg. Kim Clijsters man. She made my day. She was my favorite...then she retired..and now she is back...she kicked ass. I am so happy she won the US Open. She is such a kind person...I dunno....more people like her should win!

Another things that wasn't expected at all....Del Potro winning!! We all know Federer is the best ever haha, but it's so great when others win too...It makes me happy.

Something you don't see everday!

School has been hectic. I'm gonna try to do a post soon about what's going all over here haha. HECTIC. SOOO HECTIC. OK. OFF TO BED!!!

Let's move on

I walked home today because my parents dropped me off at school, so I didn't have my bike. It's not a long walk, but my bagpack was very heavy and it was really hot outside, so I was feeling miserable. Still feeling extremely down, but there is nothing I can do about it. Just got to move on.

These are photos that I like. Kim Clijsters is finally back to tennis...she was my favorite when she retired. Now she has made it to the semifinals, and I am very happy. It sort of boosted me, to try more even though I don't feel like trying hard at anything at the moment.

Nadal. I hope either he wins or Gonzales. Federer if those two don't win. But I'm hoping Nadal will win this one.

If you see me walkin' down the street And i start to cry each time with meet walk on by, walk on by

Been feeling a little down. This three day weekend was supposed be filled with work, play, and overall happiness. Nothing goes as planned, but I'm trying to be positive. I have been working everyday on my studio projects that are due on Tuesday, and I hung out with a friend, which was really nice, because it allowed me to let go of some of my sadness. Life is a weird thing, and I am just trying to figure out as many things about my own life at the moment. I am taking things slow, and trying my BEST to be positive. It can be so hard sometimes.

I wore this last week. The heels are getting really comfortable. It is only after a few hours when they start to hurt me (ball of my foot, and my pinkies..), otherwise they are great.

While i'm on the topic of being positive, I just wanted to share that one of my favorite female tennis players is back...Kim Clijsters. She is such a nice person and a great player...she retired two or so years ago to start a family. Now she is back, and she beat Venus Williams! It really made my day.

Survived First Week

During the summer, I told myself that when school starts, I will make time to post regularly. I have been meaning to post, but I am already drowning in assignments and due dates. I want to try my best to post though, and visit everyone's blogs. If I am slow at returning comments, I apologize beforehand. I usually read your updates in between classes to see what you guys are up to~ So...school has been hectic. First day of studio we were given our first assignments. We are doing a case study where we get split into groups of five and are assigned different buildings. Each building has a certain material which is significant, and each group has to study that material and do experiements with it. The experiments are for my Material and Methods class. Those two classes go hand in hand with eachother..... studio and M&M are two different classes, but we stay with our groups and study the same building. I hope that makes sense haha.

The building that I am doing a case study for is the Milan Trade Fair, designed by none other than Massimiliano Fuksas. You guys might remember that I went to a lecture of his in May at the LACMA. I didn't get to choose the Milan Trade Fair, so I was happy I got it. It's a really interesting building. At first I was fascinated by the interesting glass canopy. Then I started thinking about the other "boring' buildings surrounding it, and thought that the whole thing is kind of lame. But then, I researched on the production process and why it was built, etc., and now I really like it again! It's badass.

The glass canopy is almost a mile long and acts as the axis that connects all the convention centers together.

This complex is built in Milan. The area it was built on was a post-industrial site which needed to be cleaned up. Milan is a fairly small city and people are used to walking through small streets and...small things haha...so this building....it's massive size, is like a shock! When this thing was being built, it was one of the biggest construction sites ever! Milan was in need of something to be able to compete with cities like Frankfurt or Chicago, which have huge spaces for trade fairs already, so this complex was built.

OKAY. I hope that wasn't too much architecture talk. I should get back to my work....I have so much to do. I just wanted to say hi...and let you guys know that I'm still alive~~ Hope everything is well!! <3
