About two weeks ago, I happened upon this black top. I've been wearing it almost everyday since. It has an interesting cut, is soft and flowy, and covers my butt so I can wear it as a dress with tights. It has been a bit colder lately (LOLLZZZ mid 60s) so I have been forced to layer underneath it while wrapping my neck with a thick scarf like this Pashimna one which I bought in India.
Comfort for life.

Yayyy today is finally over. I had a stressful week but it went well. Next week will be even more stressful, but I can handle it! I thought I'd post a bunch of photos from the past couple of weeks. I've been doing a lot of different things. I went to three concerts in one week (Moonsorrow, Iztakh Perlman, & Roxette), working frantically on studio, turned 25 years old, and made some new friends. It's been crazy, but fun <3

This is a funny story. On my birthday (09/25/2012) I was filling out a form for school. I wrote the date, signed the paper, and turned it in. The lady I gave it to came back out with the same paper and pointed to the date that I had written. I looked at it and said "yeah...seems correct to me". She looked up at me and pointed to the date again. I looked down and read it out loud "09/25/198......1987??". I had written my birth year instead of 2012. She started laughing and I was just amazed that I hadn't realized what I'd done. Automatic reaction to writing the numbers 09/25 is 1987 in my head ~

Been playing a bit of tennis again~ It feels so awesome. I've been doing strength training exercises for the past two weeks now...trying to get my legs a bit stronger. I have some issues with my right knee, so I'm also trying to strengthen the muscles around the knee~ Today I took my racquet to be restrung~ I changed the strings in year (not like I played a lot, but still...). I also asked to get my grip changed since it was very worn out and gripping tight to the racquet was hurting my hand. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow <3 I'm so excited! I've been able to produce fairly decent ground strokes but because of the lousy strings, the shots were unpredictable...and it was getting very frustrating to play like that. YAYYYYYYY NEW STRINGSSSSS!!!!

OH YEAH, I'm taking Structures 2 during the summer~ That class gives me a terrible headache every time....but the challenge is good~ My shoes are from a completely random shoe store in New York (can't even remember the name)....I bought them last summer when my flats were giving me blisters. My parachute pants are from H&M. I think they might be slightly big on me...I have to wear them with a belt (UGHH). My best friend didn't like it when I wore these (thought they were ugly...made me sad ;____;)...but damn, they're comfortable. Top is also from H&M...It's pretty lame because you always have to iron it before wearing...if you don't want to look like a slob. The reason why I like it is that it's very light - perfect for summer. The cardigan, I believe, is from H&M too...Yeah, I'm like 97.2% sure it's from there.

After my first final on Wednesday, I met up with my friend (who took these photos) at a crepe place that we frequent...a lot. We both got crepes and then shared this thing. We are pigs. I'm not ashamed to admit. I eat way too much of this stuff for my own good. But whatever.
We then made a quick visit to the mall so I could buy The Borrower Arrietty from this store. That's me...staring at all the wonderful stuff inside that I want.
Then at night, we went to a photography exhibit that my sister's boyfriend had organized. This is my sister and I. Please don't be afraid. I look like this almost all the time in real life.
The night before, my friend and I were working on our final. We were trying to spray paint our laser cut models. I failed at putting on a glove properly.
At night, my dad brought us dinner from home <3. We ate a lot. We stayed until we finished our models (which was till 2 am I think...) and then we finished the drawings at home. I slept very late >___>
The morning of Thanksgiving, I met up with my friend who goes to UC Berkeley. We never get to see each other anymore since she lives up there for school. I won't see her again until summer since I'll be in India when she comes home for winter break ;____; So I wanted to see her <3
Thanksgiving was spent at my cousin's house. I played with my cousin, Austin.

On Friday we went to our family friend's wedding! When my family lived in an apartment, we were all neighbors...so I call him my ex-neighbor haha~ My dad and sister at our table <3......

And then finally...I ended the break with a long walk by myself. I forget that the sun sets earlier now so I have to be careful. We have mountain lions in our area and I always forget to be careful. If I don't post anything in a long time, you can just assume that I got eaten by one during one of my walks.
It might not seem like it, but I also did a bit of school work this break. My final for studio is this coming Friday. I am very nervous! Can't wait till it is over! Then I can focus on getting ready for India~
