Thanksgiving Break Photo Summary

After my first final on Wednesday, I met up with my friend (who took these photos) at a crepe place that we frequent...a lot. We both got crepes and then shared this thing. We are pigs. I'm not ashamed to admit. I eat way too much of this stuff for my own good. But whatever.

We then made a quick visit to the mall so I could buy The Borrower Arrietty from this store. That's me...staring at all the wonderful stuff inside that I want.

Then at night, we went to a photography exhibit that my sister's boyfriend had organized. This is my sister and I. Please don't be afraid. I look like this almost all the time in real life.

The night before, my friend and I were working on our final. We were trying to spray paint our laser cut models. I failed at putting on a glove properly.

At night, my dad brought us dinner from home <3. We ate a lot. We stayed until we finished our models (which was till 2 am I think...) and then we finished the drawings at home. I slept very late >___>

The morning of Thanksgiving, I met up with my friend who goes to UC Berkeley. We never get to see each other anymore since she lives up there for school. I won't see her again until summer since I'll be in India when she comes home for winter break ;____; So I wanted to see her <3

Thanksgiving was spent at my cousin's house. I played with my cousin, Austin.

And his baby brother, Jacob.

And my older cousin...who knocked out in his 'sleep fort' that we built for him.

On Friday we went to our family friend's wedding! When my family lived in an apartment, we were all neighbors...so I call him my ex-neighbor haha~ My dad and sister at our table <3......

....And me with my dad <3

Broken heart ;____;

On Saturday night, my sister and I went to my friend's house to watch Arrietty and pig out (again) on sweets.

His dog wanted to hang out with us <3

This is a random close up of a dress I got during the break. I'll try to remember to take a better photo of it later~ I love the stars.

And then finally...I ended the break with a long walk by myself. I forget that the sun sets earlier now so I have to be careful. We have mountain lions in our area and I always forget to be careful. If I don't post anything in a long time, you can just assume that I got eaten by one during one of my walks.

It might not seem like it, but I also did a bit of school work this break. My final for studio is this coming Friday. I am very nervous! Can't wait till it is over! Then I can focus on getting ready for India~

I hope you guys have a wonderful week <3

The Borrower Arrietty

I am so excited about this! I purchased this Studio Ghibli movie last week after my first final and I haven't been able to stop watching it. It's called The Borrower Arrietty and it is one of the most beautiful things I've watched in my life. Even though this one doesn't feel as grand as their other movies like Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle (my favorite), Arrietty has touched my heart more than those two. It's simple and delicate. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but you have to watch this. It is so sweet~

The artwork is absolutely breathtaking and so is the music. The characters are wonderful and the story tugged at my heart. This movie made me very emotional...the emotions were already there haha, but they had been hibernating in a way~

I hope you guys get a chance to watch this movie. I can't put into words how amazing it is <3

Happy Feelings with Lovely Friends

Yesterday night my sister and I went to our friend's house with a cake to celebrate his birthday! His sister was home as well so us four had a super cozy movie night together~ We watched Howl's Moving Castle and drank tea~ I tried to squeeze in some homework too. Overall, it was a really relaxing evening with happy feelings. We comforted each other and appreciated each others existence~

One of my favorite movies. It is so beautiful and heart warming. I love it very much <3

HELLO! YOU WANT TEA?!?!?

SLEEPY SLEEPY~

Los Angeles River Adventure

I went to the LA River on Sunday with my class. We had a field trip that took us to different parts of the river. It was so much fun and I learned a lot. It helped that my awesome friends came along as well.

We started off at the Glendale Narrows. It was a really beautiful place. We laughed at all the cute ducks.

I named this crawfish 'Rafael Nadal' because only had one arm that was huge ;____; he was cute~

My rain boots came in handy.

I look super pissed/upset here. I was very hungry at this point...so maybe that's why.

Anyone know what that means?

This was our final stop. A lot of movies have been shot here throughout the years...like the Terminator and Gone In 60 Seconds....so many many many films.

Having a deep conversation about...I dunno.

My awesome friend who took all the photos that I am in.

Finally, we got to eat. We went to Wurstküche in Downtown LA. It was delicious as always.

I hope you've all been well! I apologize for being away for so long. I am getting closer to my studio final...December 2nd!! Been working feverishly on my project + other work for my other classes. I haven't gotten any sleep in two weeks and it's beginning to show. It's late right now...and I have an early morning class tomorrow (well..today), but I just wanted to post this!

I hope you guys have a wonderful Friday~ MEMEMEMEME <3
