YESTERDAY...

...I sat in front of the computer from 2 pm till 10 pm without taking a single break. My back hurts A LOT. My partner was with me the whole time...trying to get our plans for our homeless facility in order. We didn't get to the sections, but we are happy with what we have to far. It is tough without our third partner. We miss him a lot. He hasn't responded to my messages yet so he is probably in recovery now. Hope he comes back soon so we can be a whole team again~

At midnight (yesterday morning) I started building my new drawer. 2:00 am.

Worked in studio in the morning. 9:30 am

WIND QUIZ. I just like the title of the quiz. 11:35 am

What I ate. 1:30 pm

Waiting for the plans to print. 9:45 pm

After my 2- 10 lab session. 10:05pm

Now I have to take a quick shower before I head out to studio....only four weeks left...stay positive <3

Spring Cleaning

School has been hectic! One of my group partners has had surgery this week and will be out for three weeks ;____;...we have four weeks left of school so it's gonna be tough~ On top of that, our portfolios are being reviewed and one of the professors said that at least 25 have failed so far!!! ;__________; I haven't been able to sleep. I am really nervous~ My parents are saying "Oh who cares, don't worry lolo it is not the end of the world!"....I wish I could be that calm~

Other than that - I have been experiencing some pain in my left arm for the past two weeks. It kept getting worse and then the pain got very random...sometimes my arm would feel numb...sometimes my hand...then it would be fine....very very random. Anyway...I went to the doctor on Thursday and he checked for different things...he said that it is probably stress related and/or something has happened to a nerve in my arm. He prescribed an anti inflamatory medicine for me to take and told me to be careful with my arm...mehmeh always something wrong with me hahaha.

Bought a new top from H&M the other day~ I haven't bought anything in a looooong while. All I have been busy with is school T____T I saw a bunch of stuff that I liked but didn't have much time to look around~ This top was too pretty to pass on~

I have been cleaning my room...throwing away cardboard, old projects....a bunch of random things. It feels good to throw away lots of stuff....feels lighter. I am also making a box for clothes that I am going to donate~ Tomorrow I am going to IKEA to pick up a new drawer~ I have very little space so this will solve lots of problems~ I have washed three loads of laundry today...still have a lot of clothes to fold, but everything is coming together slowly~

OKAY GOTTA GO BACK TO CLEANING AND HOMEWORK~ Hope you guys are having a good weekend <3

My past few weeks

So spring break was over a week ago and I have been super busy with school again. My break wasn't anything special...I was home the whole time finishing up my portfolio which is due this coming Monday. I picked up my finished copies on Wednesday! I was so happy~ My mom doesn't want me to turn it in cause she is scared the school is gonna lose mine and I told her that if they do, I'll just print her another copy~ Other that portfolio...I have been busy with studio....it is almost April....school is done in May....so we don't have much time till the deadline for the Steel Competition. My team and I are working REALLY well together. It is ridiculous. We work hard but we laugh a lot on the side. I have never felt so at ease with school friends. It's really wonderful.

Nothing much has been happning other than that. Just watching/reading the news about everything that is going on in the world inbetween school work and trying to get back in shape. I have been feeling so slow lately (sitting infront of the computer for hours and hours for school is not a good thing) so I have been starting to do my daily walks again. I already ride my bike to school, but I feel like it's not enough movement for me. Now that spring is here...well almost here, I want to get active again~

Here are some cellphone snaps from the past few weeks:

Thursday morning: I has lasercut and spraypainted the skin system of our building.

Wednesday afternoon: I picked up my babies <3 I'll take some more photos of them soon!!

Spring Break Highlights: Went out to eat with my friends, visited my friend who owns a super cute welsh corgi <3, and went to a Swedish bakery with my parents for Fat Tuesday sweets~

A Few Weeks Ago: OKAY PLEASE DON'T GET SCARED BY THIS. I was sick a few weeks ago and was being emo and rolling around in my comfort clothes rotting away... and we have this random hand lying around the house....so my sister and I decided to take photos of me with it. VOILA~

I hope you all are doing well <3 Take care until next time~

WE KILLED IT!!!!

I could NOT be happier. Not only was yesterday's lecture a dream come true....but today's midterm review was OWNED by us. The few weeks leading up to this review were annoying because we felt that none of the professors were understanding how we were coming up with out ideas, our form, are program, etc. It was really frustrating, because we would work hard and receive nothing back. Last week, I was sitting in my Environmental Systems class and I got an email from LACMA saying that Bjarke Ingels was having a lecture on the 3rd (yesterday) so I told my group that we HAD to finish everything by 5pm on that day so we could go to the lecture. It was hard, but we pushed the entire weekend and week until yesterday at five. We had pinned everything up for the review before we left, so today we just had to get to school at 1 pm and wait for our turn to present. We ended up being the last group to present...at 5:45pm. We were so tired of standing the entire time. Throughout the presentations, we tried to crack each other up to break the nervousness. We laughed a lot~ Finally it was our turn and I started by introducing our group and the idea for our project...I explained the diagrams and showed various things on the model we had made. Then my friends continued explaining and then we started getting questions from the reviewers. They really really liked our proposal and said it was strong! At one point, two of the reviewers said that they didn't like where we had put the housing.....my group and I were confused so we didn't say anything, but then our professor stepped in and corrected them and said we had put it in the right spot and then they all went "well....then that's settled...everything seems really good now". We were trying HARD not to smile throughout the presentation. One of the reviewers called our project very realistic and elegant! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG~ Afterward, our teacher smiled at us and got up and shook our hands. We were kind of pissed at him cause during our previous reviews, he had kept telling us that our forms were random and not clear....but today he finally understood what we were trying to do. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~ Since we were the last group....our section met up after our presentation and our professor said that we had all done a great job and that he might email us next week for more assignments, but he was gonna let us rest a little bit for our Spring Break. After that, my group and I were jumping around from joy~ We pinned all of our stuff down, cleaned our desks and skipped to our cars to go home~ GREATEST SPRING BREAK BEGINNING EVERRRR. When I look back at a year ago.....the first day of Spring Break was the worse day of my life, but a year later....it is one of my most proudest days. Hopefully I will have many more of these happy ones in the future <3

Here are some images from our boards....I apologize for the crappy quality....these drawings look really nice in person...I had to squish them to fit them here ;____;:

OKAY TIME FOR ME TO SLEEP~ GET TO SLEEP IN TOMORROW YAYYYYYYYYY ^_______^ <3
