I spent a lovely afternoon at my friend's home yesterday before having to rush home to get ready to attend a wedding. He made me a wonderful lunch and we reconnected after being apart for a couple of months. Ponchik was happy as always. I always considered him a small dog but now that I have Laika, Ponchik seems so huge in comparison. They'll be friends soon.
Did a seven mile hike in Cooper Canyon over the weekend with a group of friends. It was incredibly refreshing. We started at around 9:30 am and ended a little past noon. Afterward we went and ate and then we all felt a little funky so we went home. The following morning I felt some flu like symptoms. I was falling asleep at work so when I got home, I ate something quickly and then decided to take a short nap. That 'nap' lasted till 8:00 am the following day (today). I still felt tired but I had to be up. I was looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow but I have to wake up early and drive to Irvine which I'm super excited about so it's okay!

I had a busy and scary week. I have small break now which I'm happy about. My sister got back since she's completed her first semester at law school. Things are winding down. Spent the day at home with family and spent my evening with friends. We're planning a trip to Big Bear so we had a meet up...to eat mainly but also discuss about our trip. Now I'm listening to music. Gonna go to bed and read a bit until I knock out.

About two weeks ago, I happened upon this black top. I've been wearing it almost everyday since. It has an interesting cut, is soft and flowy, and covers my butt so I can wear it as a dress with tights. It has been a bit colder lately (LOLLZZZ mid 60s) so I have been forced to layer underneath it while wrapping my neck with a thick scarf like this Pashimna one which I bought in India.
Comfort for life.
Now, my bed awaits.
