Yes Please!

I WANT! I've been looking for a new pair of everyday sneakers. It's tough choosing a color. I'll probably end up with a neutral colored pair. The heels are from Zara. I've been eyeing them for a while but I want to try them on before committing! This is more or less how I'd want to dress this summer. Simple pieces that come together nicely and can be easily mixed and matched~

I've been playing Diablo this past week and I've been having fun dressing my character in all sorts of weird clothes. Then I thought I should take a look at my own closet and see what I have.

The past week and a half

I had my first midterm yesterday and I'm still trying to recover. I hadn't slept in two days so I felt like a dry, sleepy zombie. The presentation went well, so it's all good. I went to the chiropractor right after and he cracked my neck and did some ultrasound treatment...it hurt so bad! I was telling him a story while he was working and at one point it hurt so bad I forgot what I was saying and I just closed my eyes. I tried to pick up where I'd left off, but again the pain was so bad I just stopped trying. He found that amusing. I felt really good after I left the place, but this morning I feel so sore. I need to do some stretches.

These are some flowers from my backyard. I love the violet colored ones. They are cute <3

The weather has been very inconsistent lately. Cold rainy days followed by sunny days.

My grandmother was over at our house this past week. She gave me a lucky penny.

My friend gave me his old Sailor Moon comic to cheer me up <3

I colored my nails a nude color over the weekend.

What I take everyday. Fish oil, Codliver oil, Flaxseed oil, Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin E. Not pictured that I also take: Vitamin D, Magnesium, and Chromium (the last two taste like death).

Yum.

Gonna take a shower and head over to studio for more work <3

A good day that ended on a sad note

I am on the rode to recovery and felt a little bit better yesterday so I spent the day with my friend and sister. We drove to Little Tokyo to eat at Shin Sen Gumi. The food was awesome like always.

After eating a super rich meal, we walked to the Little Tokyo mall and walked around. I was looking for a good luggage back, but everything was too expensive. We went to the market and I bought a Witch Hazel cleanser and then we bought sweets~

At night, we ended up at a Barnes & Noble and sat and read books. I got a news alert that Christopher Hitchens had a died an hour before...and my happy day became very sad. He is a favorite of mine and someone I look up to a great deal. He was an amazing writer and intellectual and I'm sad that I can no longer look forward to reading any new material or hear another great talk by him. The world has lost a great voice.

The Borrower Arrietty

I am so excited about this! I purchased this Studio Ghibli movie last week after my first final and I haven't been able to stop watching it. It's called The Borrower Arrietty and it is one of the most beautiful things I've watched in my life. Even though this one doesn't feel as grand as their other movies like Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle (my favorite), Arrietty has touched my heart more than those two. It's simple and delicate. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but you have to watch this. It is so sweet~

The artwork is absolutely breathtaking and so is the music. The characters are wonderful and the story tugged at my heart. This movie made me very emotional...the emotions were already there haha, but they had been hibernating in a way~

I hope you guys get a chance to watch this movie. I can't put into words how amazing it is <3
