CHEEKY

I drew this a few weeks ago. It's an inside joke between my friend and I. My sister and our friends are obsessed with kids with hugeee cheeks and we always (we are strange... I know...) make jokes about them...So I drew this...The top writing is in Armenian...it translates to "CHEEK LAND"...an amusement park...on a baby's face....ahh Lorik..do your homwork instead...

The reason why I'm posting this is cause I haven't felt so good today. Some family problems (we are all fine), but I am having a hard time dealing with certain things at the moment. This drawing makes me smile...so as I am doing my homework, I click on this photo a few times to give me some "happiness boosts"~

ALL I DRAW IS FACES

I doodle a lot. Especially in school, because it prevents me from falling asleep. I have a couple of larger moleskins that I use for studio notes and sketches. They are mostly personal sketches, but sometimes I'll show them to professors if I feel like the idea is portrayed better as a sketch. Here are a couple of sketches from my sketchbook this sememester~

As quickly as possible

I saw Harry Potter opening night with a bunch of friends and it was a lot of fun. I lost my eyeglasses somehow and now only have a pair of contact lenses till I buy new glasses. It sucks. I don't like losing things...I feel like a bad person when I do. I get too attached to objects. For two (or three?..not sure) days now, I have been drawing quick drawings for fun. I've been uploading them on my facebook account under an album titled "Doodles". The thing about these drawings is that I draw them as quickly as possible. Usually when I draw, I get really bored and when I do, I never finish the drawing. So these are just for fun, drawn fast!

This is a funny drawing of my friend Tiko. We call him T-Dawg for fun. They call me Lor-Dawg or L-Dawg in return.

I like to draw a lot. But because of school, I didn't cause I got sick of drawing stupid things that annoyed me... So this is is like the first time in a while..

Meet my new moleskin!

I don't have school today and tomorrow because we are all supposed to be studying for our midterms. I have a World Architecture midterm on Wednesday that I haven't studied for at all...and a Physics midterm on Thursday that I haven't studied for either. YAY. On Saturday I hung out with a bunch of my guy friends. We went to a nearby park and played Ultimate Frisbee!! YAY~ Then we went to a Thai restaurant (yum!) and ate a lot of food. Eventually we made it to my friend's house where we played Brawl. I was kicking everyone's ass!! I'm really good! KIDDING! I'm okay~

When we were about to go to the restaurant, my friend and I were sitting in the car waiting for our other friends to come out of the house....I started talking about moleskins haha....I pulled my finished one out and showed him. After he looked at it, he got out of the car and went to his car. When he came back, he had a moleskin in his hands and told me that I could have it. He had written stuff on the first two pages...I told him that he should keep it and use it cause it's fun! But he said he only uses the thin ones cause they fit in his pocket. We took turns to play Brawl...and when it wasn't my turn I drew in my new moleskin!

On Sunday I went to the Getty Center to do some photography. The weather was really nice...chilly yet sunny...LOVE! Let me know which ones you like...I want to turn five of them in for an assignment~!
